So, You need a letter of Sponsorship?

ULC of Wisconsin would be honored..

There is one Caveat..

I was ordained through the Universal Life Church in Modesto California. I am not affiliated with the ULC Monastery located in either Arizona or Washington, and, currently, neither is the Universal Life Church in Modesto California . They were once affiliated with the Universal Life Church in Modesto, but, they split from the ULC headquarters in August of 2006, there was a Schism. The ULC Monastery seems to be willing to present itself as the Universal Life Church, and it is "a" Universal Life Church, but, they are currently working under their own authority, and are, effectively, a different denomination. That means that, if you were ordained by the ULC Monastery, at ULC.Org, I cannot legally write your sponsorship letter.

There is more on that issue in an article located, here.

If you were ordained by The Monastery (The Monastery.org, or ULC.org - same thing ) after August of 2006 you have two options. One is to find a minister ordained by the Monastery in Wisconsin. The other is to be ordained again by the ULC headquarters, or an affiliated church. I recommend the later, but that is me.

Ok, generally I send out two letters: One to the officiant, and one to the couple. I need addresses where a letter can reach the officiant and the couple prior to the wedding. And if different, I need your home address, which I use in the letter to identify you. A phone number where I can reach you has also been handy..

I also need to confirm the ordination with Modesto, so I need the date of ordination, and, if possible, and the zip code used when ordained, if different from the current Zip code of the officiant. (unless they have already updated their information in Modesto).

I generally only ask two things. We are not set up to take donations, but I encourage you to consider sending a small donation into Modesto. I also ask the bride and groom to consider sending us a picture from the wedding, ideally one that they will let us use for a web page, when we finally get one up.
